MARIA COSTELLO MBE ROAD TO RECOVERY ACCIDENT APPEAL

As we all now know, Maria tragically sustained life-changing injuries in an accident while qualifying her sidecar outfit during the Isle of Man TT.

To us all at the HRDC, Maria was a fearless competitor on four wheels irrespective of the differing cars we put her in.

Whatever she raced, she drove the wheels of it and won the hearts of the teams that supported her.

Maria’s mantra was ‘go on then, I’ll give it a go!’.

Maria’s road to recovery will be a long and hard one. But knowing her tenacious approach to life, it will be one that she will win.
